Managing Director, Business Consultant, Marketer, Trainer and Digital
Media.
Born in Birmingham, Mark worked for The AA from 1980 to 2008 where he undertook a number of
operational management roles and head office business improvement roles. While working as an
operations manager he studied at Birmingham City University (formerly the University of Central
England) and attained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
After graduating he moved into business improvement as an internal consultant to develop the
company’s operations strategy and undertook a series of high profile project leadership roles
making a significant contribution to the company's exceptional profitablity and world class
customer experience.
Mark set up MiW Business Consulting in 2008 and has undertaken assignments in the UK, Middle
East and China for commercial clients. His real strength is the practical application of his
knowledge and experience, developed over more than thirty years in industry.

Director, Trainer and Education specialist.
Diane, also from Birmingham, started her career as an officer in the Civil Service but left to
raise a family. Once the children were older she returned to education gaining a number of
qualifications including a BA (Hons) in Business Administration and a post-graduate Diploma in
Management Studies. During this time she started working for Bournville College delivering ICT and
Business courses.
In 1999 and 2001 she was awarded National Training Awards regional commendations. Whilst
studying for her Cert Ed she was promoted to Cross College IT Coordinator, took on responsibility
for staff development and gained a particular interest in Information Learning Technologies.
Diane joined MiW Business Consulting in 2010 and heads up the training and administration areas
of the business.

strategy, business improvement, IT, training and education, project management, recruitment and digital media and
have worked in the automotive industry, service sector, utilities, financial services, IT, recruitment, fleet,
education, media and entertainment.
